I am hoping to develop my current practise of floral paintings that combine different styles and mediums from photorealism to naive oil pastels.I would use the bursary to help with purchasing materials and photographic stock photography for reference and inspiration. I am hoping for two years of experimentation to culminate in a show in Darlington.
The Dover Prize Fund has its roots in Darlington. Please explain how you believe your work might enhance and raise the profile of the creative arts in the area. (200 words)
The work would hopefully bring visitors to Darlington and create a buzz with a show at the end.
