Winning the Dover Prize would be an honour and an incredible achievement. The bursary will be used to fund my artistic research, letting me experiment with new materials that would enable me to produce new work to be shown in a solo exhibition, that will celebrate the Dover Price and the new body of work produced by myself.
The Dover Prize Fund has its roots in Darlington. Please explain how you believe your work might enhance and raise the profile of the creative arts in the area. (200 words)
It would be amazing if I could show my new work in the Darlington town, as this will enhance the historic importance of the area as well as showing new perspectives and visions through my art.
